Daltonganj, June 15: Before celebrating their academic achievements, students of Lakshya Coaching Centre (LCC) in Daltonganj observed a heartfelt moment of silence to honour the victims of the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The tribute underscored a poignant start to what was otherwise a day of celebration for the successful candidates of the 2025 intermediate science examinations.

A Moment of Silence, Then Gratitude

The high-performing students—who secured top positions in the Jharkhand Academic Council’s (JAC) intermediate science results—gathered to pay their respects with a one-minute silent tribute. Only after this did they express their gratitude to LCC’s head, Pawan Kishore, and his dedicated teaching team, including Sweety Verma, for guiding them to success.

Rural School Produces Top Talent

The achievement was particularly notable for a rural Plus Two school located in Narsinghpur, under Chainpur police station, which produced three top-performing students in the state board exams. All three—Snehlata, Riya, and Diviya, who secured first, second, and third places respectively—had been mentored by LCC.

More Than Just a Coaching Centre

LCC in Daltonganj has earned a strong reputation for its close-knit academic environment. The centre is known for fostering a disciplined yet supportive bond between teachers and students.

Sweety Verma, who oversees admissions, fees, and certifications, remarked, “Our chairman, Pawan Kishore, strictly enforces a no-mobile-phone policy inside the classroom—for students, teachers, and staff alike. It helps maintain focus.”

Praised for Discipline and Standards

Local police, in a surprise inspection ahead of the JAC’s 2025 board exams, visited several coaching centres in Daltonganj, including LCC. Sources confirmed that officers found everything in order at the centre, further reinforcing its image as a well-managed institution.
