Guna, April 10: An official stated on Wednesday that two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers died and one was injured in a road accident in the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened late on Tuesday night at New City Tiraha in the district, close to Nanakhedi.
The names of the deceased were Kamlesh Yadav and Anand Raghuvanshi (Magarana). Manoj Dhakad has been recognized as the injured person, and he is currently receiving treatment.
Two accused arrested
Jyoti Umath, the City Superintendent of Police (CSP) of Guna, stated “An accident occurred at New City Tiraha in the district on Tuesday night. There were three people on a vehicle (two-wheeler) and due to the accident, two people lost their lives and one sustained injuries. The car through which they met with the accident has been taken into custody and the accused (two persons) have been arrested.”

As per reports, BJP workers were awaiting the arrival of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia when a car struck them from behind.
Scindia meets families of deceased workers
Union Minister Scindia met the families of the workers late at night in Guna after learning about the accident.
Scindia expressed his sorrow over the event by saying, “Yesterday in Guna, a sad incident happened in which two of our fellow members died. It is not enough that I express my condolences from the bottom of my heart. We are all shocked at the moment and can’t believe that this incident occurred. One of my fellow members is still fighting for his life, our prayers are with him.”
