Noida, Jan 21: Police reported that two criminals sustained injuries in a confrontation with police in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday. Subsequently, they were arrested by police.
The two miscreants, Anuj and Nitin, sustained injuries after an encounter at Noida Sector 49 at approximately 5 am, officials stated.
Stabbed a man to death
Anuj and Nitin, the accused, were sought after after fatally stabbing a man named Mehndi Hasan on Saturday in Baraula village, Noida.

After being stabbed, the victim suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where, according to the police, he passed away while receiving treatment. They also stated that the attack appeared to be motivated by an old grudge.
Fired at police
Police attempted to apprehend Anuj and Nitin, the accused, on Sunday by chasing them. The criminals fired at the cops as they attempted to flee.
After the accused reportedly opened fire while attempting to flee, police said they retaliated by firing back.
“The duo sustained injuries in the firing and have been taken to district hospital for treatment,” police said.
