Lucknow, Feb 11: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the preparations and arrangements for the Magh Purnima bath in Mahakumbh. He also held a meeting with officials regarding the arrangements.

Preparations for the Magh Purnima bath at the Mahakumbh have intensified. The last Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh will be organized on the day of Magh Purnima on 12 February.

Addressing concerns over the Mahakumbh arrangements at an event after the review, Yogi Adityanath stated that those raising such issues are merely spreading negativity.

Yogi Adityanath criticized those who have long enjoyed VVIP privileges yet consistently stand against India and Sanatan Dharma, spreading misinformation.

Speaking on Tuesday while paying tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his death anniversary, he asserted that Upadhyay’s vision of Antyodaya is being successfully realized under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Continuing his remarks, Yogi Adityanath strongly criticized those spreading misinformation about the Mahakumbh. He stated that individuals who have enjoyed VVIP privileges throughout their lives are now engaged in false propaganda against the event.

Highlighting the massive participation, he noted that in just 29 days, 45 crore devotees have taken a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj, marking a historic occasion.

Dismissing claims of a so-called “VIP bath,” he emphasized that the Mahakumbh represents harmony and devotion, uniting people beyond caste, religion, language, and region.

Meanwhile, a massive influx of devotees continues to arrive at the Mahakumbh Mela area to take a dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam.
