Lucknow, June 22: Officials revealed on Saturday that the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 11 Indian Police Service officers, including the commissioners of police for Prayagraj and Lucknow.
IPS officer Amarendra Kumar Sengar has been appointed as the new police commissioner of Lucknow, taking over from S.B. Shiradkar, who has been reassigned as the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) for Lucknow Zone. Sengar previously held the position of ADG for Lucknow Zone.
Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma will replace ADG Bareilly Zone Prem Chand Meena, who has been reassigned as ADG/MD of Police Housing Corporation.

Vinod Kumar Singh has been appointed as ADG of Cyber Crime, while Prakash D, who was previously ADG/MD of Police Housing Corporation, has now been appointed as ADG of Railway.
ADG Railway Jai Narayan Singh has been transferred to PTC Sitapur whereas ADG Special Security L V Antony Dev Kumar has been appointed as ADG of CBCID.
ADG Security Raghuveer Lal has been assigned the additional role of ADG of Special Security Force, in addition to his current responsibilities.
ADG K. Satyanarayan, who was previously in charge of CBCID, has been appointed as ADG of Traffic and Road Security. BD Palson, formerly ADG Traffic, has been reassigned as ADG of Training.
