Ranchi, October 30: The Faculty of Computing & Information Technology at Usha Martin University organised a seminar on “Building AI-Powered Android Apps with Gemma and RAG” on October 30, 2026, at Baitarani Auditorium.
The session was conducted by Belal Khan, Google Developer Expert and creator of Simplified Coding. He introduced students to Google’s Gemma AI models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), highlighting their applications in developing intelligent mobile applications.
Seminar Explores Gemma AI Models and RAG
The seminar covered the fundamentals of Gemma, on-device artificial intelligence, Android application development and the integration of external knowledge sources to build AI-powered applications.
Through practical demonstrations and interactive discussions, students gained insights into the real-world applications of artificial intelligence and explored how emerging AI technologies can be used to develop innovative mobile solutions.
The session encouraged students to deepen their understanding of AI and explore new possibilities in application development.
