Utkal Association felicitates Dharmendra Pradhan in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov 9: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan was felicitated by the premier Odiya organisation, Utkal Association, here on Friday evening.

The senior BJP leader dropped in at the Utkal Association accepting an invitation from the Odiya organisation during his electioneering trip to Kolhan.

In the afternoon, he had been to Jeraikela in West Singhbhum to campaign for the local party candidate Shashi Bhushan Samad and by the evening arrived at the Utkal Association for the felicitation.  On Saturday morning, he embarked on a trip to Baharagora to campaign for the party candidate Dineshanand Goswami there.

During his speech at the Utkal Association, Dharmendra Pradhan applauded the works being done by this organisation for the development of the people of Odiya community and assured of the help and cooperation necessary for further development.

He informed me that he would come to the steel city once again to attend the program XLRI convocation shortly during which he would take stock of the Odiya schools operating in the Singhbhum region.

The union minister was made aware of the upcoming Sri Jagannath Temple along the Marine Drive by the Utkal Association president Dr Sridhar Pradhan who urged him to extend his cooperation in making the project a great success.

The program of Dharmendra Pradhan’s felicitation was attended by a large number of people, including women and dignitaries like senior advocate Manoranjan Dash, the Utkal Association’s secretary Tarun Kumar Mohanty, Advocate Rabindra Nath Satpathi.

Apart from the Utkal Association, representatives from Odiya organisations like Utkal Golmuri Samaj and Bandhaba Samiti, managements of several Odiya schools and representatives from RSB Group also felicitated the union minister by presenting bouquets to him on this occasion.

Utkal Association vice president, Badal Bhuiya gave the vote of thanks.
