Vivan, Arrna, Naman win double titles at Dhanbad Club Badminton Tournament

Dhanbad, June 25: Young shuttlers Vivan Agrawal, Naman, and Arrna Agrawal dazzled at the Dhanbad Club Badminton Tournament, each securing double crowns with impressive performances in their respective categories.

Vivan claimed the boys’ under-21 singles title after a hard-fought win over Ishaan Agrawal (21-17, 21-18). He then teamed up with Ishaan to defeat Sharsh and Shaurya in a three-set doubles final (23-25, 21-17, 21-18).

Naman dominated the boys’ under-13 category, winning both singles and doubles titles. He beat Yash Agrawal in the singles final and later paired with him to overcome the duo of Aarchi and Riyan in the doubles final.

In the girls’ under-13 section, Arrna Agrawal clinched the singles title by defeating Nysha Jain 21-15, 21-14. The two then teamed up in the doubles final to beat Prisha and Pihu Agrawal convincingly (21-12, 21-15).

In other matches, Prishna Tulsian won the girls’ under-11 singles title by defeating Shanaya Sanwaria, while Raechit Banka emerged victorious in the boys’ under-11 singles final against Riyadh Singh.

Shaan Pandey took home the boys’ under-16 singles crown, defeating Vivan Agrawal. Despite the loss, Vivan made up for it with his title win in the under-21 category.

Organizing Secretary Atul Dokania and Sports Director Alok Agrawal announced that the prize distribution ceremony will be held on June 28 to honour the winners and participants.
