PINAKI MAJUMDAR
Jamshedpur, March 5: The Meteorological Centre in Ranchi has forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places in parts of Jharkhand for three days starting Saturday, March 7.
According to the latest weather bulletin:
March 7: Partly cloudy sky with chances of light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places in the south-eastern parts of the state.

March 8: Similar conditions are expected in the eastern districts of Jharkhand.
Outlook for March 9:
Partly cloudy sky with the likelihood of rain or thunderstorms at isolated places, mainly over the eastern region.
Cyclonic Circulation Influencing Weather
The weather changes are being attributed to prevailing upper-air systems in the region. An upper-air cyclonic circulation persists over south Assam and its neighbourhood at about 0.9 km above mean sea level.
In addition, another upper-air cyclonic circulation lies over North Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh at the same altitude.
These systems are influencing moisture incursion and cloud formation over eastern India, including parts of Jharkhand.
Recent Weather Conditions
Despite the forecasted changes, dry weather prevailed across the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.0°C was recorded at Chaibasa, while the lowest minimum temperature of 10.6°C was reported from Khunti.
Weather officials have advised residents, particularly in eastern and south-eastern districts, to remain alert for sudden thunderstorms and localised rainfall over the coming days.
