Ranchi, March 8: “Women’s empowerment will be the foundation of a developed Jharkhand,” said MLA Kalpana Soren as she addressed a gathering of women at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Kalpana Soren, who played a crucial role in mobilizing women voters during the last assembly elections, continues to be a strong advocate for women’s rights and development in Jharkhand. Her efforts in connecting with women at the grassroots level significantly contributed to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s (JMM) electoral victory, as women voters turned out in large numbers to support the party.

During the event, women from various groups met Kalpana Soren and submitted a memorandum highlighting their concerns and demands. In response, she assured them that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government is dedicated to making women educationally, socially, and economically empowered and self-reliant.

She also announced that financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Maiyaan Samman Yojana would soon be transferred to women’s bank accounts and emphasized the various ambitious welfare schemes being implemented for their overall development.

Jharkhand Moving in a Positive Direction

Reaffirming the government’s commitment to women’s rights, Kalpana Soren stated that Jharkhand is progressing in a positive direction. She emphasized that the state government acknowledges the sacrifices, struggles, and hardships faced by women and is determined to ensure their happiness and well-being.

On this special occasion, Kalpana Soren once again extended her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all women on International Women’s Day. The women present expressed their gratitude for the state government’s continuous efforts for their welfare, praising the leadership of Chief Minister  Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren.
