These rigorous programs are designed to cultivate ethical, forward-thinking leaders equipped to navigate today’s dynamic business environment.
In his inaugural address, Fr. S. George, S.J., Director of XLRI, encouraged students to embrace “wholehearted living,” underlining values such as empathy, courage, and interdependence. “Courage,” he noted, “is not the absence of fear, but the strength to move forward despite it.”
Sanjay Patro, Dean (Academics), reminded students of XLRI’s foundational ethos, MAGIS – the relentless pursuit of excellence for the greater good – and urged them to approach the program with curiosity, humility, and a strong moral compass.
An interfaith prayer, led by Fr. Donald D’Silva, S.J., Dean of Administration & Finance, brought together verses from the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib, and Holy Quran.
Faculty members including Prof. Purna Chandra Padhan, Prof. Manoj Thomas, and Prof. R. K. Premarajan were present, offering support and guidance to the incoming cohorts.
