Unified Cutoffs for BM and BM–International

  • Engineer and non-engineer male candidates: 94 percentile overall
  • Female and third-gender candidates: 88 percentile overall

Sectional cutoffs in Quantitative Ability, Verbal & Logical Ability, and Decision Making have also been prescribed to ensure balanced performance across aptitude areas.

Up to 4,500 Candidates to Be Interviewed

XLRI expects to call around 4,000 to 4,500 candidates for the GD–PI round for the 2026–27 admission cycle. The final selection will be based on a multi-parameter evaluation including aptitude, communication, leadership potential, ethical judgment, and programme fit.

Admissions convenor Prof. Rahul K. Shukla said the goal is to select candidates who combine intellectual strength with character and social commitment.
