10-day Annapurna Base Camp Trekking begins tomorrow

THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

 

Ranchi, Dec 2: The Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation in collaboration with the CyberPeace Foundation has spearheaded an Annapurna Base Camp Trek from December 3 to December 12, 2023, for a group of 14 individuals (from Ranchi and Pan India) coming from all walks of life.

Under the guidance of the accomplished mountaineer and Guinness Book Record Holder, Satyarup Siddhanta, the group will embark on an extraordinary journey to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp is not merely a physical journey of a thrilling adventure but symbolizes Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation’s aim to empower people with resilience and serves as a platform to promote trekking activities within the state of Jharkhand. It also aims to showcase CyberPeace Foundation’s commitment to equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital landscape securely.

This venture comes on the heels of the Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation’s triumphant organization of the Everest Summit 2023, a monumental event that commemorated the 70th Anniversary of the Everest Summit. Ranchi served as the hub for this celebration, hosting an impressive contingent of 13 Everest Summiteers.

Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation is a registered non-profit organization under section 8(1) of the Companies Act 2013. Their mission is to bring people together to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world we live in and to inspire ideas and action for a better future for all. Satyarup to lead team

The lead of the team, Satyarup is the youngest in the world to climb the seven highest peaks and seven highest volcanic summits across seven continents. He believes that with grit, determination and willpower, nothing is impossible. “Through my climbs, I want to inspire people … to face their fear eye to eye and break free from the self-limiting beliefs that cripple them,” he says.

He is known for his exceptional mountaineering feats and will lead and guide the participants throughout this challenging trek. His experience and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the success and safety of the expedition. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp is not just an exploration of the majestic Himalayan terrain but also a celebration of the indomitable spirit of adventure and the passion for the great outdoors.

14-member team

The 14 members of the team constitute Satyarup Siddhanta, Rajeev Kumar Gupta, Shrawan Kumar Agrawal, Nandini Shrawan Agrawal, Pravin Rajgadia, Rahul Rajgadia, Sushma Krishnaswamy, Sunanda Chatterjee, Riya Shridhar Kochikar, Ram Mohan Reddy, Brajesh Kumar, Tuhinika Prasad, Amit Modi, and Sanjay Kumar Yadav who will trek to Annapurna Base Camp which is 4130 meter from Sea Level.

As these 14 participants set out on this remarkable journey, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek represents an opportunity for personal growth, camaraderie and a shared appreciation for the wonders of nature. The Foundation envisions that this initiative will not only create lasting memories for the participants but also inspire others to explore the diverse landscapes and engage in trekking activities in the beautiful state of Jharkhand.
