Suman K Shrivastava, among Jharkhand’s most experienced journalists, is the Founder-Editor of The Jharkhand Story. 

Born on October 15 1965, he has had stints at The Times of India, Patna, The Hindustan Times, Ranchi (Bureau Chief), The Telegraph, Ranchi (Bureau Chief), The Pioneer, Ranchi (Consulting Editor) and Lagatar24.Com (Editor). 

During his long journalistic career in Jharkhand and Bihar, he has written extensively on politics, legal and legislative issues, human rights, and the right to information.

He also hosted an interview-based television show on Ranchi Doordarshan. 

He has also been empanelled as an ‘Expert Mediator’ at the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), where the Jharkhand High Court refers cases for mediation.
