Jamshedpur, March 28: Most parts of Jharkhand will witness dry and clear weather today said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
The maximum temperature showed a rising trend across Jharkhand with several places including Jamshedpur and Daltonganj notching days reading of around 37 degrees Celsius.
Weathermen said the day’s reading will continue to witness an upward trend in the next few days.
However, there is the possibility of some rainfall activity on Saturday and Sunday due to the impact of a fresh Western disturbance affecting the Western Himalayan region from Saturday.

Thundershowers accompanied by lightning is also likely to take place at a few isolated places including southern Jharkhand on Saturday and Sunday.
A trough in westerlies at 1.5 km above mean sea level runs roughly along Long. 87 °E to the north of Lat. 21°N.
Satellite pictures indicated another trough from northwest Bihar to southeast Assam extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.
