Dhanbad, April 4: BIT Sindri Electrical Engineering department in association with Hioki India Private Ltd. Japan organised an extended seminar on Electric Vehicle Technology and its Components.

The expert team members held valuable discussions with Dr. Md. Abul Kalam, head of the Electrical Engineering department and Faculty members. They provided a comprehensive overview of the critical issues and opportunities surrounding electric vehicles.

“They also discover the cutting-edge technologies driving the future of transportation and sustainability in the seminar,” said HoD Dr Kalam.

Electric vehicle technology

The experts of electric vehicle technology who said light on the subject matter of the seminar were Dr Vineet Shekher, Dr Rajendra Murmu, Dr Dipesh Kumar, Dr Suman Ranjan, Dr Bishwaranjan Mishra, Prof. Rajesh Narayan Deo, Prof. M. Rehman, Dr Om Prakash and Prof. Sanjay Oraon.

Resource persons

The resource persons for this seminar were Deepak Singh Rawal, general manager; Shubham Bansal, assistant sales manager and application engineer (E.V.); and Prabir Das, assistant sales manager, HIOKI India Pvt. Ltd.

Credit was given to the coordinators, Dr Rahul Kumar and Dr Murli Manohar, for successfully managing the seminar.

Diamond Jubilee celebration

A senior faculty member said the seminar was organised for the institute’s Diamond Jubilee celebration.
