Jharkhand News: 726 students of SC, ST and OBC to take entrance test in Eklavya, Ashram and Awasiya Vidyalayas in Palamu

Daltonganj, April 6: A total of 726 students drawn from SC, ST and OBC are to take their entrance tests (Prawesh Parikchha)  for classes 6, 7 and 8 in the Eklavya, Ashram and Awasiya Vidyalaya in Palamu on Sunday, April 7.

Giving this information, the district welfare officer Sewa Ram Sahu said, “The Centre of this entrance test is YSN Mahila College Daltonganj. This entrance test is of one sitting beginning 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday, April 7.”

Sahu said this entrance test is for the session 2024 -25.

The district welfare officer said, “The state welfare department is organising this entrance test.”

Sahu said, “The seats available are 90 in class 6, 12 in class 7 and 6 in class 8.”

There is no seat for the ST in classes 7 and 8.

There are seats for SC and OBC in classes 6,7 and 8.

Sahu said, “The number of examinees is 726 for classes 6,7 and 8. However, the total seats available are 108, where SC has 25 seats, BC 43 and ST 40 seats.

There is one Eklavya Vidyalaya in Manatu in Palamu.

Similarly, there is an Ashram Vidyalaya in Redma, while for the OBC, there is the Awasiya Vidyalaya at Kolhuwa under the Chainpur police station limits.

For the SC students, there is Awasiya Vidyalaya at Kouwwa Khoh in Harihurganj.

Sahu said the entrance test will be held in all sanctity.
