Dhanbad, May 24: The Dhanbad Table Tennis Association on Friday accorded a warm farewell to its mentor and DIG of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Vinay Kajla at an impressive function held at Nehru Sports Complex Koyla Nagar over his transfer from Dhanbad.

President of Dhanbad District Table Tennis Association Aman Raj (chief vigilance officer of Bharat Coking Coal Limited) while recalling the contribution of DIG Kajla in promoting the game during his stay in Dhanbad said that the district will always be grateful and never forget his efforts.

“The district body and players will miss the guidance and support he extended despite his busy schedule,”  said the CVO.

General Secretary Saket Kumar Sinha on the occasion said that DIG Kajla instilled a new spirit among office bearers as well as players especially children through active participation in games activities. “If the Dhanbad association can organize two major tournaments State Table Tennis Championship and State Veteran Table Tennis Champion successfully, the credit goes to DIG Kajla,” said Sinha.

Other office bearers of the association highly appreciated the role of Dr Vinay Kajla in participating in and promoting social and sports activities during his stay in Dhanbad.

The District TT association president, on the occasion, felicitated him with a shawl and memento.
