Ranchi, June 8: A special Lok Adalat related to motor vehicle accident claims was held at the premises of Civil Court, Ranchi.
One bench was constituted for Special Lok Adalat (Motor Accident Claim Cases), where Manish, P.O. MACT, Praveen Kumar Srivastava, Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel were present.
In today’s Special Lok Adalat, a total of 500 identified cases were placed before the bench for settlement, in which a total of 115 cases were settled and a settlement amount of Rs. 4,87,45,000 was obtained by execution, which was distributed among the victims and their dependents.
Notably, cheques were distributed among the parties by Judicial Commissioner Diwakar Pandey.
