Jamshedpur, July 2: Keeping in view the extra rush of passengers during Rath Yatra, South Eastern Railway has decided to run special trains.

Rath Yatra also known as the Chariot Festival will be celebrated on July 7 (Sunday).

The festival draws a large number of devotees from various parts of the country to Puri which is famous for Lord Jagannath Temple.

08387/08388 Baleshwar-Puri-Baleshwar Rath Yatra Special

08387 Baleshwar-Puri Special will leave Baleshwar on July 6 and July 14 at 5.40 pm and will reach Puri at 11.45 pm, the same day.

In the return direction, 08388 Puri-Baleshwar Special will leave Puri on July 8 and July 16 at 1.15 am and will arrive Baleshwar at 8 am, the same day.

The special train will have stoppages at Nilgiri Road, Khantapara, Panpana, Bahanaga Bazar, Soro, Sabira, Markona and Ranital in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

08379/08380 Badampahar-Puri-Badampahar Rath Yatra Special

08379 Badampahar-Puri Special will leave Badampahar on July 6 and July 14 at 6 am and will reach Puri at 9.15 pm, the same day.

In the return direction, 08380 Puri-Badampahar Special will leave Puri on July 8 and July 16 at 2.30 am and will arrive Badampahar at 6.15 pm, the same day.

The special train will have stoppages at Chhanua, Kuldiha, Rairangpur, Ondagram, Bahalda Road, Sidhirsai, Haludpukur, Tatanagar, Ghatsila, Chakulia, Gidhni, Jhargram, Hijli, Belda, Dantan, Jaleswar, Basta, Rupsa, Baleshwar and Soro in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

08376/08377 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Rath Yatra Special

08376 Rourkela-Puri Special will leave Rourkela on July 5 and July 14 at 9.50 pm and will reach Puri at 4.45 pm, the next day.

In the return direction, 08377 Puri-Rourkela Special will leave Puri on July 8 and July 16 at 2 am and will reach Rourkela at 3.30 pm, the same day.

The special train will have stoppages at Bondamunda, Bisra, Bhalulata, Jaraikela, Manoharpur, Ghaghra, Posoita, Derowan, Mahadevsal, Goilkera, Tunia, Sonua, Lotapahar, Chakradharpur, Barabambo, Pandrasali, Chaibasa, Singhpokharia, Jhinkpani, Talaburu, Kendposi, Maluka, Dangoaposi, Deojhar, Murga Mahadev Road, Banspani and Jaroli in South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

08385 Rourkela-Puri Special will leave Rourkela on July 6 and July 14 at 11.30 am and will reach Puri at 11.15 pm, the same day.

In the return direction, 08386 Puri-Rourkela Special will leave Puri on July 8 and July 16 at 3.15 am and will reach Rourkela at 4 pm, the same day.

The special train will have stoppages at Panposh, Kalunga, Kanshbahal, Rajgangpur, Sonakhan, Sagra, Garpos, Tangarmunda, Bamra, Dharuadihi, Bagdihi, Panpali, Dhutra and Jharsuguda.
