The state government on November 23, 2023, had under three years bound service, deployed 129 PG passed-out students of Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) Ranchi and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH) Jamshedpur in Sadar hospital of four districts, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad and Dumka.
Anatomy and physiology tutors were also deployed in Sadar hospitals
Interestingly, the tutors of the anatomy and physiology departments (PG passed out) were put on deputation in Sadar hospital by the state government where according to medical college senior faculty members, there is no role for them there ( at Sadar hospital).
They were deployed in the hospitals of Medinirai Medical College Hospital (MMCH) Palamu, Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital, Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) Dhanbad and Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital (PJMCH) Dumka and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH) Jamshedpur.
The PG passed-out senior residents/ tutors had in the initial stage opposed the irrational move of the government but due to service-bound conditions reluctantly acquiesced to the order.
