New Delhi, July 25: In the Lok Sabha on Thursday, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey from Godda, Jharkhand, raised concerns about the declining Hindu population in the country and demanded the implementation of the NRC in Jharkhand.

Tribal population declined by 10%; JMM-Congress taking no action

Dubey highlighted that when Santhal Pargana became part of Jharkhand in 2000, the tribal population in the region was 36%. Today, it stands at 26%. He questioned where the 10% of the tribal population has disappeared and criticized the House for not addressing this issue.

Dubey accused the opposition of engaging in vote bank politics and claimed that Bangladeshi immigrants are increasing in the states. He alleged that regional parties like the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress are not taking action against this.

Women contesting elections from tribal quotas have Muslim husbands

Dubey also stated that Bangladeshi infiltrators are marrying tribal women and said there are 100 tribal chiefs in his area but their husbands are Muslims. He emphasized that this issue should not be viewed as a Hindu-Muslim problem.

Bangladeshi infiltrators forcibly evicting Hindus

He said that riots have erupted in Pakur’s Taranagar-Ilami and Dagapara areas because Muslim infiltrators from Bangladesh, who have reached Bengal, are forcibly evicting Hindus from their villages. Dubey stated that people from Malda, Murshidabad, Araria, Katihar, and Kishanganj have inflicted violence on Hindus.

He called for intervention from the Indian government, describing the situation as serious. Dubey emphasized that he was making these statements on record and expressed his willingness to resign if his claims were proven incorrect.

Araria, Katihar, Malda, Murshidabad should be made Union Territories

Nishikant Dubey called for Bihar’s Araria and Katihar, as well as Bengal’s Malda and Murshidabad, to be designated as Union Territories. He warned that if this is not done, Hindus in these areas may disappear.

He also demanded the implementation of the NRC and suggested sending a parliamentary committee to the regions. Additionally, he urged the implementation of the 2010 Law Commission report, which stipulates that permission is required for religious conversions and marriages.

Number of voters increased by 110-123% in 25 assembly seats

Nishikant Dubey stated that while the number of voters typically increases by 15 to 17 per cent every five years, there has been a 123 per cent increase in voter numbers in Jharkhand.

He pointed out that in one of the assembly constituencies, the Muslim population at around 267 booths has grown by approximately 117 per cent. He also said that in at least 25 assembly seats in Jharkhand, the number of voters has increased by 110 to 123 per cent.
