Jamshedpur, August 22: South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run Durga Puja special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers witnessed during the festival time.
Garden Reach, the Kolkata-based headquarters of South Eastern Railway today notified running of 08893/08894 Gondia-Santragachi-Gondia Special.
08893 Gondia-Santragachi Special will leave Gondia on October 4 and October 9 at 11.20 am and will arrive Santragachi at 5.20 am, the next day.

In the return direction, 08894 Santragachi-Gondia Special will leave Santragachi on October 5 and October 10 at 7.30 am and will reach Gondia at 1.15 am, the next day.
The special train will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela and Jharsuguda in South Eastern railway jurisdiction
For the convenience of passengers, it has been also decided that 18119/18120 Tatanagar-Jaynagar-Tatanagar Express will have a stoppage at Bokaro Steel City effective from August 23.
Various passenger bodies lauded the railway announcements and said the decisions would immensely benefit passengers and other rail users.
