It is likely to move nearly northwestwards across Vidarbha and weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level was today passing through Jaisalmer, Raisen, Chhindwara, centre of depression over East Vidarbha and adjoining Telangana, Machilipatnam and thence southeastwards to east-central Bay of Bengal.

According to weathermen, a fresh low-pressure area is likely to form over the adjoining Bay of Bengal around September 5.
