An order issued on September 9, 2024, initially provided a curfew relaxation in Imphal East District from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm on September 10. However, due to escalating law and order issues, this relaxation has been cancelled effective from 11:00 am on September 10. A total curfew is now in place in Imphal East District until further notice.

This decision reflects the authorities’ response to the escalating situation, aiming to restore and maintain order in the district.
