Jamshedpur, Sept 14: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Tatanagar railway station tomorrow, changes have been made to the departure of trains from different platforms.

Tomorrow (Sunday), platforms number 1, 2 and 3 will remain closed as entry and departure of trains from these three platforms will be restricted for the Prime Minister’s visit.

The Prime Minister will be flagging off six semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express trains.

No passengers will be allowed to go to these three platforms.

Platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 will be closed for over seven hours

All mail, express and passenger trains will depart and move through platform numbers four and five only.

South Eastern Railway’s Kolkata-based headquarters has issued a notification in this regard.

Platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 are expected to remain closed for more than seven hours.

No passenger trains will operate from platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 on September 15 between 5 am and 12 noon.

20 trains to run through platforms 4, 5

All Up and Down passenger trains will operate from platform numbers four and five.

According to a list issued by South Eastern Railway as many as 20 trains including the Tata-Howrah Steel Superfast Express, Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, Chakradharpur-Tata MEMU, Howrah-Barbil Janshatabdi Express, Utkal Express and CSMT- Howrah Geetanjali Express will depart and run through either platform numbers 4 or 5 tomorrow.

Entry closed from the main gate of Tatanagar

The main gate will remain closed for the passengers coming to Tatanagar station. To catch the train, passengers will have to enter the second entry point located at Burmamines at the restricted time on 15th September.

Tata-Hata Road will also remain closed

In view of the Prime Minister’s visit to the Tatanagar railway station, movement of vehicles on the Tata-Hata Road will be restricted. The restriction will be effective from 4 am to 2 pm.
