Jamshedpur, Sept 24: South Eastern Railway today announced festival special trains between Lucknow and Tatanagar.

04224/04223 Lucknow-Tatanagar-Lucknow Festival Special

04224 Lucknow-Tatanagar Special will leave Lucknow on October 10 at 3.10 pm and will arrive Tatanagar at 8.50 am, the next day.

In the return direction, 04223 Tatanagar-Lucknow Special will leave Tatanagar on October 17 at 11 am and will reach Lucknow at 4.55 am, the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Rae Bareli, Amethi, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Station, Sasaram, Gaya and NSCB Gomoh.

04226/04225 Lucknow-Tatanagar-Lucknow Festival Special

04226 Lucknow-Tatanagar Special will leave Lucknow on October 20 at 3.40 pm and will arrive Tatanagar at 9.10 am, the next day.

In the opposite direction, 04225 Tatanagar-Lucknow Special will leave Tatanagar on October  21 at 11 am and will reach Lucknow at 4.55 am, the next day.

The special train will have stoppages at Rae Bareli, Amethi, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Station, Sasaram, Gaya and NSCB Gomoh between the two destinations.

Chhotanagpur Passengers Association welcomed railway decision

“The direct train to Lucknow would immensely help to clear the huge rush of passengers witnessed during festival time, ” said a senior functionary of the passengers’ outfit talking to The Jharkhand Story.
