Ranchi, Oct 19: As preparations intensify for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress have announced their decision to contest 70 seats together. This significant alliance will also allocate 11 seats to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and leftist parties.

The announcement was made in the presence of key leaders, including Gulam Ahmad Mir, Congress in-charge, Hemant Soren, working president of JMM, and Rameshwar Oraon, senior cabinet minister in Hemant Soren’s cabinet. Their participation underscores the unity and determination of the alliance.
