Jamshedpur, Nov 16: The minimum temperature witnessed a drop at most places across Jharkhand during the past 24 hours.
Statistics revealed that Garhwa recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 12.7°C on Friday.
Several other places in northwestern Jharkhand recorded around 13-14 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours.
Ranchi recorded 14.2 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 16.2 degrees Celsius yesterday.
The forecast suggests no significant changes in minimum temperature in the next 48 hours thereafter, the minimum readings would again witness a slight drop.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today withdrew the dense fog alert.
However, weathermen said shallow to moderate fog would continue to prevail in isolated places during the next few days.
