Ranchi, Nov. 19: BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today posted on X and took a big dig at the state government officials.
He said that information is being received from reliable sources that some officials of the Jharkhand government are working as workers of Hemant Soren. “These corrupt officials are trying to reduce the voting percentage in favour of BJP in Dhanwar assembly and other important assemblies by any means,” he alleged.
He said that they are planning to adopt various types of tactics, such as preventing BJP-supporting voters from going to the polling area, spreading confusion, threatening BJP workers, influencing voters at the booth, etc.
Marandi, who is contesting elections from the Dhanwar constituency, said that such officials are requested to stop their activities. “As soon as the BJP government is formed, they will be punished without any delay,” he warned.
Marandi also urged the Election Commission, Chief Secretary of Jharkhand and DGP to ensure fair elections by stopping the conspiracy and fraud of such officers.
