Official sources report that the raids took place across several states, targeting individuals and organizations believed to be involved in trafficking vulnerable people.
A criminal network involved in trafficking for illicit objectives, such as forced labour and exploitation, is the subject of these coordinated searches.
The NIA has assumed control of the case from the local police. The case is said to involve the trafficking of men, women, and children both across state borders and potentially internationally.
