Mumbai, Nov 29: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted raids at locations linked to Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra. The action is part of an investigation into a pornography-related case.

According to reports, the ED team arrived at Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s residence in Santacruz early in the morning on November 29 at 6 a.m. and is examining all important documents. The ED has also raided the premises of others connected to the pornography case.

Raj Kundra was arrested in 2021 in pornography case

Notably in February 2021, Mumbai Police uncovered a pornography racket. The Crime Branch registered a case against the production and distribution of obscene films on various OTT platforms. Following this, the police became active and conducted raids at multiple locations, during which four individuals were apprehended.

Interrogation of these individuals revealed the involvement of Raj Kundra, leading to his arrest by Mumbai Police. However, he was later granted bail.

Raj Kundra faced serious allegations from model Poonam Pandey, actress and model Sherlyn Chopra, and actress Sagarika Shona Suman. Shilpa Shetty’s name also surfaced in the case, although she has not been accused of any involvement in the matter so far.
