Daltonganj, Dec 2: An actor in Nukkad Natak identified as Aashif Ahmad alias Raja Khan has been quizzed along with five others by the ATS here in connection with organised crime.

Giving this information, Palamu SP Reeshma Ramesan said, “I am really surprised to find a street show actor in the gang of the criminals operative for the notorious gangster Sujit Sinha.”

Raja Khan used to be in the team of a versatile actor cum lensman cum journalist in Daltonganj.

How he got tempted into the network of Sujit Sinha is a matter of deep probe.

The allure of quick money and the promise of fame or notoriety may have influenced a youth like Raja Khan to become involved in Sujit Sinha’s network.

Police have recovered three desi pistols, three rounds of live fire, one desi katta, three bikes and seven touchscreen cell phones.
