Dhanbad doctors refer him to out-of-state super-speciality hospital

The three-time MLA, who felt severe pain in the abdomen, high fever and anxiety was admitted at Aserfi Hospital on Saturday evening. Having seen no improvement in his complications from treatment, Aserfi Hospital doctors referred him to a super-speciality hospital out of state on Sunday evening.

The family members duly set out for Ranchi in the evening for Hyderabad by flight.

In January this year, Dhulu Mahto fell sick and had to get treatment at a superspecialty hospital in Hyderabad. “So he had gone there for treatment this time too,” said a family member.

Tussle with Dhanbad administration

Recently, the BJP MLA had been at loggerheads with the Dhanbad district administration over permission to hold a programme of  Baba Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham (Madhya Pradesh) from December 2 at Ram Rajya Mandir. The administration did not permit it.

Dhulu Mahto, who is facing more than 43 cases in different police stations, recently charged that he had danger from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) as he was voicing against coal theft in Dhanbad.
