New Delhi, Dec 14: Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), will undertake a four-day official visit to Indonesia from December 15 to 18.
With an emphasis on strengthening naval cooperation, this visit is a part of continuous efforts to further solidify India-Indonesia bilateral defense ties in keeping with the growing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

In the course of the visit, the CNS is set to hold bilateral talks with senior Indonesian government and defense officials, including Lt Gen Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin (retd), Indonesia’s Defense Minister, General Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, and Admiral Muhammad Ali, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy.
The discussions are anticipated to address a wide range of defense cooperation topics, with a particular focus on maritime security, joint training programs, and exploring opportunities to enhance operational collaboration between the two navies.
