Wasseypur’s notorious fugitive gangster
The City SP further disclosed that Sagar Kumar Malla, alias Bittu, and Ganesh Gupta, henchmen of Wasseypur’s notorious fugitive gangster Prince Khan, had hired Faijal for the attack on Chetan Sao.
The dispute stemmed from a ₹2 crore land deal in which Chetan Sao was involved. Prince Khan’s associates were also eyeing the same land and conspired to eliminate Saw to take control of the property.
According to police officials, Ganesh Gupta had transferred ₹4,000 to Faijal as train fare and arranged his stay at a hotel in Bagodar, Giridih district. Ganesh Gupta, along with Rajesh Badhawan, Ajay Singh, Karan Singh, and Bittu, met Faijal at the hotel to plan the attack on Sao.
During interrogation, Faijal admitted to being the bike rider during the shooting, while Bittu fired the shots at Chetan Sao. The pistol used in the crime was later recovered from Faijal’s residence in Aligarh.
