PM Modi to attend AI Action Summit in France

New Delhi, Jan 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly set to attend the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in France from February 10 to 11.

As per reports by Reuters, French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday that Modi would make a state visit to France.

Macron further highlighted that the AI Summit will enable dialogue with key powers, including the IEA, the United States, China, major nations like India, and Gulf countries.

Speaking at the 30th French Ambassadors Conference Macron announced that France would host the AI Summit on February 10-11. He stated that Prime Minister Modi would visit France on an important trip, as discussions on AI would involve all major powers.

90 countries, including India, invited to AI Action Summit

Macron further emphasized the significant role of emerging nations like the United States, China, India, and Gulf countries in these discussions.

It was confirmed by the French Presidency in December that India had been invited to the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit, with the country being considered highly significant.

In a press briefing for the summit, the French Presidency announced that 90 countries, including India, had been invited to participate.

On February 10, heads of states and government representatives, along with other stakeholders, will take part in various sessions. Macron will host a formal dinner that evening for heads of states and other VIPs.
