Riyadh, Jan 19: Actor Hrithik Roshan was presented with the Honorary Award for his Global Achievement and 25 Years of Excellence in Cinema at the Joy Awards 2025 held in Riyadh.
Acclaimed filmmaker Mike Flanagan presented the award to Hrithik Roshan, praising his remarkable career.
The Joy Awards recognize outstanding talent across multiple domains, including film, music, sports, and television.
The Joy Awards’ official social media account posted a video featuring Hrithik as he received the award and delivered his acceptance speech.

Upon receiving the award, Hrithik expressed his gratitude for the recognition and reflected on his career, saying, “Thank you Riyadh, Joy Awards, and my thanks to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for inviting me here from India. I’m humbled and grateful for this honour. It’s been 25 years, but I feel like I’ve only just begun to truly understand acting. I take this as a symbol of hope and a promise for the next 25 years.”
This year, Hrithik Roshan stood out as the sole Indian actor to receive the prestigious Global Achievement and Honorary Award, joining Hollywood icons Morgan Freeman and Matthew McConaughey as fellow honorees. The winners were handpicked by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
