Jamshedpur, Jan 29: The minimum temperature across Jharkhand is expected to witness a rise from Friday, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today.
According to the forecast, no significant changes are expected in minimum temperature during the next 48 hours, there after the night reading will gradually witness a rise.
Several places across the state including Jamshedpur today woke up to gloomy weather conditions but later the weather became clear as the sun came out.

As far as Met statistics are concerned Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur today recorded 12 degrees.
Daltonganj today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius while Bokaro Steel City recorded 8.2 degrees.
Met data suggest that Gumla today recorded the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 4.9 degrees Celsius followed by Chatra which today recorded 5.2 degrees Celsius.
Lohardaga recorded 5.6 degrees Celsius while Simdega today recorded a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees.
The Met data suggested fluctuating minimum temperatures in most parts of the state today.
