Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Sakchi Police Station in-charge and Police Inspector Anand Mishra was honoured by the Sikh community for his remarkable participation in the 42.197 km Full Mumbai Marathon at the 20th Tata Marathon in Mumbai.
BJP youth leader and founder of the organization Saanjhi Awaaz, Satbir Singh Somu, felicitated Mishra by presenting him with a bouquet and draping him in a shawl as a token of appreciation.
Inspector Anand Mishra successfully completed the marathon in 5 hours, 23 minutes, and 31 seconds. Since his return to the city, various organizations have been recognizing and honouring his achievement.

According to the BJP leader, completing such a long-distance run at this stage of life is an outstanding accomplishment, making Mishra a role model and an inspiration for the youth.
Several prominent figures, including Sardar Chanchal Singh Bhatia, Veer Khalsa Dal President and BJP Minority Cell State Media In-charge Rinku Sablok, Jasbir Singh, and Kaushal Singh, were present during the felicitation ceremony.
Chanchal Bhatia highlighted that Inspector Anand Mishra had previously participated in half-marathons, but this was his first attempt at a full marathon. He praised Mishra’s dedication, calling his achievement a true source of motivation.
