Jamshedpur, March 1: A few isolated places in north-eastern Jharkhand are expected to witness light rain today.

Weathermen said that under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over northwest Rajasthan, an induced low-pressure area has formed over western Rajasthan. An associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 1.5 Km above the mean sea level.

A low-pressure trough was also running from west Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Pakistan to northern parts of Madhya Maharashtra across Gujarat at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.

According to weathermen, both the maximum and minimum temperatures would witness a rising trend due to departing winter.

The minimum temperature was hovering between 14-16 degrees Celsius in Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Daltonganj.

The minimum temperature was hovering between 12-13 degrees Celsius in Lohardaga and its adjoining areas.
