Hazaribag, Dec 4: A team of 12 magistrates led by DC Nancy Sahay and SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe searched the high-security Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan central jail on Monday recovering 10m rope, a pen drive, a khaini packet, a round piece of rod and a knife like spoon from there.
Nothing serious objects were found, DC Sahay said.

After the inspection, Sahay said the murder of an inmate in the Dhanbad jail resulted in instruction to all jails of the state to remain on high alert so as to put a check on any such activities. She said they had searched the barracks, hospital and canteen of this jail.
Chauthe said though this search was taken up after the Dhanbad jail incident but they keep doing this in a month or two.
