Dhanbad, Dec 7: Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) Additional Director RP Gurang has said that the rules, regulations and guidelines have limitations beyond a point and it’s the consciousness of the common people which can help to tackle the issues of pollution.

Gurang, who was addressing a three-day national seminar on ‘Technology Advancement in Waste Management’ at Golden Jubilee Lecture Theatre of IIT ISM Dhanbad, said that the biggest challenge lies with the framing of rules, guidelines to control pollution which are uniformly applicable across the nation.
“We must think that the excesses being carried out by us are ultimately impacting our health,” said Gurung while inaugurating the seminar.
