New Delhi, May 8: Following India’s successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which destroyed nine terror camps deep inside Pakistan, Pakistan launched a series of retaliatory strikes on the night of May 7, attempting to target multiple military installations across Northern and Western India.
Locations such as Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj were targeted using drones and missiles.

However, these attacks were successfully countered by India’s Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems, which neutralized the threats before they could reach their intended targets. The debris from these attacks is being recovered, further confirming Pakistan’s involvement in the aggression.
In response, the Indian Air Force deployed S-400 Sudarshan Chakra air defence missile systems, intercepting and neutralizing the incoming threats. Military experts have confirmed the success of these countermeasures, with an official government statement awaited.

Additionally, this morning, Indian Armed Forces targeted air defence radars and systems at several locations in Pakistan, mirroring the intensity of Pakistan’s own actions. Reliable sources report that an air defence system in Lahore was successfully neutralized as part of India’s counter-strike.
