Ramgarh, Dec 9: 42 candidates are in the fray for the elections of the Ramgarh District Advocates Association, scheduled to be held on December 16.
It will be held from 10 am to 4 pm under the supervision of Chief Election Officer Rajkumar Gupta, Assistant Election Officers Pranab Kumar Mukherjee and Pankaj Krishna Jamuar.
418 advocates will cast their votes in the elections. After voting, the election results will be announced late in the evening along with counting of votes.
Anand Agarwal, Chandrika Singh and Anuj Kumar Sinha are contesting for the post of President, while Jhalakdev Mahato and Rishi Kumar Mahato are for the post of Vice President.
Sitaram, Rajendra Kumar Mahato, Muneshwar Mahato, Horil Kumar Rajak, Sikandar Kumar Singh and Prabhat Kumar Singh are contesting for the post of General Secretary, while Prakash Ranjan, Shambhunath Prasad and Satish Kumar are in the fray for the post of Joint Secretary, Administration.
Shambhu Tiwari is contesting for the post of Joint Secretary Library, while Harakhnath Mahato and Satish Kumar Pathak for the post of Treasurer, Dhananjay Prasad Yadav, and Vikesh Ranjan are in the fray for the post of Co-Treasurer.
