Speaking at the event, Saryu Roy said, “Yoga is India’s ancient gift to the world. It connects the body, mind, intellect, and soul. This year’s theme, ‘One Earth, One Health, and Yoga’, underlines the need for global unity in health and well-being.” He also highlighted the contributions of Maharishi Patanjali and Guru Gorakhnath in shaping the practice of yoga into a systematic discipline.
