Dhanbad, June 27: The Dhanbad Open Wrestling Championship, organized as part of the week-long International Olympic Day sports celebrations, concluded today at Kali Mela Ground, Jamadoba.
The event featured only freestyle wrestling, attracting more than 100 participants across six weight categories. The competition was conducted under the supervision of Arvind Kumar Singh, Secretary of the District Wrestling Association.
Organizing Secretary Ranjeet Keshri, who also serves as Secretary of the Dhanbad District Olympic Association, said the event aimed to promote wrestling and Olympic spirit among youth in the region.
