Shimla, July 2: Relentless monsoon rains have left Himachal Pradesh reeling, with at least 51 people dead and 22 missing due to flash floods, landslides, lightning, drowning, and road accidents.

Kangra district recorded the highest number of fatalities at 13, followed by Mandi and Chamba with six each. Mandi also reported all 34 missing persons, primarily due to flash floods and cloudbursts.
