Dhanbad, July 30: Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aditya Ranjan and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar reviewed the final preparations at IIT (Indian School of Mines) ahead of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit on August 1.
The President will be the chief guest at the 45th Convocation of IIT-ISM Dhanbad, while Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend as guests of honor.

The DC and SSP, accompanied by senior district officials, inspected the lower ground area of IIT-ISM where the main event will take place.

They reviewed arrangements at the exhibition zone, photo gallery, D-area, green room, stage, safe house, media section, entry and exit points for the President, and the designated parking space for the presidential convoy.
Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan also inspected the Presidential Suite and accommodation arrangements for the Governor, Chief Minister, and other dignitaries.

The inspection team included Rural SP Kapil Chaudhary, City SP Ritvik Srivastava, IIT-ISM Registrar Prabodh Pandey, SDM Rajesh Kumar, DSP Headquarters-2 Dhirendra Narayan Banka, DSP (Law & Order) Naushad Alam, Civil Surgeon Dr. Alok Vishwakarma, along with other senior administrative and police officers.
