Loyola High School Patna dominates CBSE Cluster II Table Tennis Championship

Dhanbad, August 6: Loyola High School, Patna, emerged as the standout performer in the CBSE Cluster II Table Tennis Championship, clinching top honors across several categories. The school dominated the competition by winning three individual singles titles and multiple team championships in both boys’ and girls’ events.

The championship concluded today at Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro, drawing participation from leading schools across the region.

The Under-19 Boys’ Team Championship title went to BNS DAV Public School, Giridih, while Loyola High School secured runner-up position, followed by DAV Public School, Khagaul and St. Michael’s High School, Patna, who shared the third spot.

Under-14 and Under-17 Boys’ Events

In the Under-14 Boys’ Singles, Alisaad Khan from Surendra Nath Centenary School, Ranchi, emerged champion, while Mihul Guha of Litera Valley School, Patna, took second place. Aryan Arpit from Trinity Global School, Patna, and Allwin Boro from Loyola High School, Patna, jointly secured third.

The Under-17 Boys’ Singles was dominated by Eklavya Sharma from Loyola High School, Patna, who bagged the top spot. Farzan Ahmad Khan of Litera Valley School, Patna, finished second, while Aarav Gupta of DPS Bokaro and Keshav Kumar Jha of Jusco School, Bistupur, shared the third position.

Girls’ Under-19 and Other Categories

In the Under-19 Girls’ Singles, Wageesha Singh of Loyola High School, Patna, bagged the title, followed by Pragati Sinha of BNS DAV Public School as runner-up. Piyushi Priya of St. Caren’s High School, Patna, and Ivy Das of DPS Bokaro shared the third position.

For the Under-14 Girls’ Team Championship, Loyola High School, Patna, clinched the top spot, with St. Michael’s High School, Patna, as runner-up. DPS Bokaro and Vivek Vidyalaya, Chota Govindpur, Jamshedpur, jointly secured the third place.

Girls’ Singles Highlights

In the Under-14 Girls’ Singles, Insharah Mahin of Loyola High School, Patna, secured first place, while Aishani Anand of St. Michael’s High School, Patna, claimed second. Ishanvi Shiva of DPS Bokaro and Laxmi of Vivek Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur, jointly bagged third.

The Under-17 Girls’ Singles title went to Drishya Singh from Jusco School, Kadma, with Shanvi Gupta of DPS Bokaro as runner-up. Pragya Sharma from Vivek Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur, and Jaismeet Kaur Rana from Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School, Ranchi, shared the third spot.

The winners were felicitated with medals and trophies in the presence of dignitaries, including Dr. Gangwar and Rajesh Ranjan.
